Introduction: We are creating a lesson plan for second to third grade students in order to help them further their knowledge in using nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs. We want to help the students reading and writing skills. Also by using technology they can learn while using computers skills to do their assessments.
Tasks:
· Task one; objective is to have the students create a power point. The students will demonstrate what they learned by using each parts of speech, and define the word. During this activity students will have a chance to practice nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, and will also get the chance to work with power point in groups.

· Task Two: will be creating a story. Students will pick words such as nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives plug them in order to create a story. This will help their understanding of how the parts of speech are used.

Process with learning advice:
· Activity 1: Students will be divided into groups of 3 to do this project. An Example will be given on over the overhead will show the students what they need to do. After, students will go to their designated computers to create their own power point with the word given to them.
o Students will need to search for a picture associated with their word
o Students will open a PowerPoint document , draft their word given at the top defined
o Students will insert their picture and type in what the picture is and underline it
o Students will then make a sentence using the word correctly and underline the word that is associated with that word.
o They will then need to save it to our document in order for us to combine all of the slides together. When finished, as a class each group will present their slides. All students need to understand each word given, so questions will be answered after the lesson is complete.
· Activity 2: Students will go to their designated computer. Each student will create a story using a website for the story generator using verbs, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and nouns. The student will have to plug the different words in. When finished, the students will print out their different stories, and take turns sharing it with the class.

Rubric:
>Activity 1; Each student will be graded on their group work individually. The grade is determined on how well the student participated. This grade is mainly a completion grade so either the students do it and get the points or do not and don’t get the points. The overall group grade will be on their information in the slide. Also how correctly the information covers through their sentence and picture. The bottom of the rubric is left for the teacher to give comments about the students work.
